El Paso, TX (KVIA-TV)-Crews working on the Borderland Expressway project are about to start placing the first beams. According to TxDOT El Paso, Stan Roberts Road will be fully closed in both directions between McCombs and Martin Luther King on Tuesday and Thursday next week. The columns and caps have been in place for months, and now the first beams are being installed. TxDOT says if you travel on US 54, McCombs Road, MLK Avenue, or Stan Roberts Road, please keep these closures in mind when planning your route.
