Spider-Man: Brand New Day has now taken the record for highest grossing Tuesday domestically, bringing home $42 million. The film also earned the highest grossing Monday in domestic box office history, grossing $46 million. Sony announced on Tuesday that the MCU’s 4th Spider-Man film became the 2nd fastest film to reach a billion, amassing the total in just six days. The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Trammell Tillman, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, and Liza Colón-Zayas. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently playing in theaters, with the film set to swing onto IMAX screens August 7th.
