Windsor and Maidenhead Thames Valley Police said the incident prompted a response from tree surgeons at Barkland Tree Specialists, who spent around five hours clearing the obstruction. "Well, that was a bit of a tree-mendous situation. "A truly branch-defying tree decided it had had enough of standing around and came crashing down across Bagshot Road, bringing traffic to a complete log-jam. "Our fantastic tree surgeons from Barkland Tree Specialists worked tirelessly for around five hours to get things back to normal, cutting through the problem piece by piece and helping us all finally turn over a new leaf." Thames Valley Police also thanked members of the public for their patience and support during the disruption.
