Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary, which occurred at around 11pm on Tuesday, August 4. A black VW Polo was reversed into the shop front of the Optician Center on Braccan Walk, and two people then left the car and stole "a number" of sunglasses and optical frames. Thames Valley Police said no one was injured but the burglary caused "significant damage" to the store.
