The family-friendly fundraiser, at the Broughton Road Bowling Club will include a variety of activities, including facepainting, guess the Teddy's name, a bake sale and 'pop the balloon's bingo'. There will also be music throughout, a raffle and a food van. Taking place on September 26 from 3pm onwards, it will raise money for Hope for Tomorrow, the charity that currently operates 14 mobile cancer treatment units in partnership with NHS trusts, including Airedale NHS Trust. Patients who visit the mobile units save an average of 156 hours in treatment and waiting time every year, along with an average saving of £364 in transport and parking costs.
