Amesbury Police said officers were called to the incident in Station Road shortly after 9 pm. In a statement, the force said: "We are currently in attendance at a collision in Station Road, Tidworth. "The incident happened shortly after 9pm, no other vehicles were involved and nobody is believed to have been injured. "However, due to concerns regarding a gas main at the collision site, we have road closures in place in Station Road and Perham Down Road and houses within a 100 metre radius of the site have been evacuated whilst the scene is made safe." Road closures were also put in place in Station Road and Perham Down Road, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
