Many who visit are probably unaware that some of the finds and the full story is told just off the High Steet in Andover. Yet I met a local councillor some years ago who boasted to me that if his grandchildren were annoying, he dragged them round Andover Museum. I admit that the bit of the museum that tells the story of Andover probably needs updating. Perhaps the Andover Museum could evolve into an arts and heritage focus – artists and others working in the building perhaps even helping to animate the museum? Andover Museum and the Museum of the Iron Age have a promising future - the ghosts of Danbury will dance with joy forever.
