ROCHESTER — A Med City man is charged with the attempted public rape of a drugged woman. Barrie Allen Skweres, 61, is held on $100,000 bail with conditions after being charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct—contact, victim mentally impaired/physically helpless, as well as attempted third-degree criminal sexual conduct—penetration, victim mentally impaired/physically helpless. The woman told police Skweres had given her a canned energy drink earlier in the day. A pair of witnesses saw Skweres and the woman, told him to leave and called the police. In 2009, Skweres was convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and sentenced to nearly seven years in prison.
