The Metropolitan Police service was alerted to reports of an assault with a weapon on Transport Avenue, Brentford, at around 10.20pm on Tuesday (August 4). Officers and paramedics were dispatched to the scene, which runs adjacent to the River Brent and Grand Union Canal Walk.
