PC Richard Marus, of the Central West Command Unit, was dismissed without notice after an accelerated gross misconduct hearing. Commander Simon Messinger, who leads the Met’s professionalism efforts, said: "PC Marus is the eleventh serving officer to be dismissed for unacceptable conduct at Charing Cross and we continue to support the ongoing IOPC investigation. PC Marus was found to have breached standards of professional behaviour in relation to authority, respect and courtesy, and discreditable conduct.
