The collision happened at around 11.15pm last night (August 6) on Aylward Street in Stepney Green and involved a car and a cyclist in his 50s. Happened in Aylward Street E1, car driver was on Balloon and drove in to a Cyclist. "The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment for life-threatening injuries." The London Ambulance Service sent ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance trauma team to assist the man, before he was taken by road to a major trauma centre.
