Seyhan Assaf, 45, appeared at the Old Bailey on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Gillian Morand, 36, who tragically died in south-east London in March 2020. It is alleged that Ms Morand was abused by Seyhan Assaf for years and that it contributed to her death. Judge Mark Lucraft KC set further hearings on August 20 and October 23 ahead of a seven-week trial at the Old Bailey from March 8 2027. Assaf, of south-east London, was remanded into custody.
