(Image: Southern Water)Tania Flasck, director of water operations at Southern Water said: "We’re grateful to customers who have put down their hosepipes and made small changes at home, helping to take pressure off Hampshire’s precious chalk streams. "Now we’re asking businesses to support our collective efforts by reducing water usage to help keep taps flowing - and cut their bills. "The more water we can save now, the less likely it is we will need to bring in further restrictions later this summer." Last year, Hampshire businesses helped save around 41,000 million litres of water in the four months it ran the scheme.
