CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — Places across the state are set to get millions in water and sewer infrastructure projects, including the City of Canandaigua. Canandaigua is set to get $4.8 million for improvements at the water resource recovery facility to address overflow events during wet weather and protect water quality in the Canandaigua Outlet. In total, $434 million will be going to water and sewer infrastructure projects across New York State. Back in March, the City of Rochester and the Town of Victor both got a share of $250 million for water and sewer infrastructure projects. The funding for Victor was used for pump station improvements.
