Jailed Oxford couple slammed by police for 'frustrating' investigation

Kevin Smith of Thames Valley Police has reacted after four people were sentenced for perverting the course of justice at Oxford Crown Court today (Friday, August 7).
Mr Smith from the major crime unit said: “Firstly, my thoughts remain with the family and friends of Peter Crowley.

Mason Robins, 21, of Valentia Road, Headington, and Tia Pomeroy both avoided prison, with the duo fleeing to Bournemouth before handing themselves in.
“These convictions are the result of a thorough and painstaking investigation involving specialist detectives, forensic experts, uniformed officers and partner agencies.
