(Sound Transit)Many questions remain unanswered when it comes to how Sound Transit will actually implement a fare gate program, including for riders under 18 years of age who currently do not have to present any fare media thanks to the statewide Youth Ride Free program. Implementing gates will also require a reworking of the fare tickets currently available at Sound Transit stations. For now, however, there's very little skepticism on the board about moving forward with some type of fare gate program.
