More than 10 years after the April 2016 release of his breakthrough hit, “Sleep Without You,” Brett Young’s back with the Platinum Edition of his self-titled debut album. Released in February 2017, the original 12-track record also features his hits “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Like I Loved You” and “Mercy,” introducing his Caliville sound to country music. The new edition adds nine bonus tracks to the album that’s been certified double Platinum, including covers of the Temptations’ “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” and Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” Six live acoustic takes round out the new record, in addition to “Hell Yeah Damn Right,” which makes its vinyl debut with the new set. The former Ole Miss Rebels’ pitcher wrote the song about his alma mater.
