Pike County, Ky – A former Pike County substitute teacher has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to third-degree rape. Twenty-eight-year-old Hunter Plymale was sentenced Wednesday in Pike County Circuit Court. Plymale was previously fired by Pike County Schools and is now listed on the sex offender registry. A proposed budget presented to the Martin County Fiscal Court projects spending just under $500,000, down nearly 45 percent from last year. She was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief.
