The Clarkston Emergency Medical Services Levy was failing in the initial count of ballots Tuesday night. During last night’s count of ballots, it gained enough “yes” votes to put it over the 60% threshold. The Levy will cost Clarkston residents $1.64 per $1,000 of assessed value of their homes to gather more than $1.27 million for medical services. Meanwhile, the Rural EMS Levy in Asotin County is still failing. That covers residents up the Snake River, in Anatone, Cloverland, and other places outside of the boundaries of Asotin County Fire District 1.
