Ofsted visited the scheme on June 23 and said it reached an exceptional standard in two areas, with three others reaching a strong standard. Richard Hamer, HR Director of Education and Skills at BAE Systems, said: “Apprenticeships are a fantastic gateway to a successful career and being considered by Ofsted as one of the strongest providers in England means a great deal to us. "It also reflects the hard work of everyone at BAE Systems who make our apprenticeship schemes such a success year in, year out. Inspectors said: “Apprentices thrive and excel because of the high standard of training and the excellent support that they receive. "They are proud to work for, and to be an apprentice at, BAE Systems PLC.
