Man banned from driving for over four years after being six times over drug limit

Fiaz Mahmood, 45, appeared at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 4, charged with two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
The charges relate to cocaine and Benzoylecgonine, a derivative of cocaine.
Mahmood, of Wensley Fold, was caught behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia in Bolton Road on March 19 of this year.
He was made subject to a one-year community order, and was disqualified from driving for four years and four months.
He was also ordered to complete 160 hours of unpaid work.
