Fiaz Mahmood, 45, appeared at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 4, charged with two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit. The charges relate to cocaine and Benzoylecgonine, a derivative of cocaine. Mahmood, of Wensley Fold, was caught behind the wheel of a Skoda Fabia in Bolton Road on March 19 of this year. He was made subject to a one-year community order, and was disqualified from driving for four years and four months. He was also ordered to complete 160 hours of unpaid work.
