The fire service was called to St Peter Street in Blackburn at around midday. Fire crews from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended the scene and spent around 35 minutes tackling the blaze. The fire involved commercial waste. A spokesperson for the fire service said: "At 11:54am on August 6, three fire engines from Blackburn and Hyndburn attended a commercial building fire on St Peter Street in Blackburn. "The fire involved commercial waste within the premises.
