AdvertisementALMOST €30,000 was allocated to projects across Limerick in Government funding for small scale local festivals and summer schools. Funding was provided to Ballylanders Development Association (€5,000), Mountcollins Development Association(€3,900), Newcastle West Community Council (€5,000), the Cappamore Show (€5,000), ACM Community Development Society(€2,126.25), Dromcollogher Carnival Committee (€3,750), The Limerick Opera and Music Project (€2,500), and The Haven Hub (€856.25). Limerick’s Senator Maria Byrne welcomed the funding announcement, saying it “recognises the hard work of everyone working behind the scenes to bring communities together”.
