A Lochalsh man who inflicted a course of abuse on his ex-partner has been told he is “a risk to any female he is in a relationship with.” On October 6, 2024 Scott and his partner had an argument at his address on Main Street, Kyle, when she left, but returned for her mobile phone. The court heard that she was pregnant at the time. This week, Sheriff Sara Matheson ordered him to carry out a community payback order, by being under the supervision of the social work department for three years. It has been a real wake-up call for him and it is his intention not to go back into custody.”
