Despite having no canoeing experience, health and safety manager Murray Kennedy and operations manager Daniel Hill took on the three-day challenge to support the Scottish Wildlife Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support. They then paddled back to the Highland capital via Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and Loch Ness over three days. Daniel and Murray took turns to keep each other’s spirits up as fatigue set in. Daniel onshore a mile up Loch Ness - a passing canoeist tipped them off about a waterfall spot for a break. He finished: “We both said we'd love to canoe Loch Ness again, but preferably with a prevailing wind to just float along!
