The Royal Visit visit to Dingwall was an extra special moment for the life-saving Highlands and Islands Blood Bikes volunteers as King Charles presented them with the King's Award for Voluntary Service. The King sharing a laugh with the Blood Bikes volunteers. The award according to the Chairman of Highlands and Islands Blood Bikes Graham Allan was “was very surreal, an absolute honour to receive the King's Award from the King himself.” The King meets the Blood Bike volunteers. “It's getting their medications or their blood samples transported more quickly than they would normally, so it provides better outcomes.”
