LAHORE – Flour prices recorded a significant increase in various cities across the country over the past week, with the price of a 20-kilogram flour bag rising by up to Rs100 in some areas. The data showed that consumers in Islamabad are buying flour at the highest price, with the maximum price of a 20kg bag recorded at Rs3,133. According to the statistics, a 20kg flour bag is being sold for Rs2,960 in Bahawalpur and Rs2,950 in Bannu. The report said the price of a 20kg flour bag in Sukkur increased by Rs60 during the week, reaching Rs2,560. Meanwhile, a 20kg flour bag is being sold for Rs2,300 in Lahore and Rs2,200 in Faisalabad, among the relatively lower prices recorded in major cities across the country.
