The Bui Power Authority (BPA) recorded a net profit of US$66.2 million in the 2025 financial year, following improved energy generation and expansion of its renewable energy capacity. Mr Sam said BPA increased its installed Solar Photovoltaic (PV) capacity from 55MWp to 105MWp in 2025, strengthening its renewable energy portfolio alongside its 404MW hydropower capacity. The staff accommodation and five-kilometre access road project linked to the Yendi Solar PV Project also reached 75% completion. Sam said BPA will focus on plant maintenance, improving operational efficiency and expanding its renewable energy projects. The Authority expects to add about 100MWp of Solar PV capacity, increasing its operationalised solar capacity to approximately 205MWp.
