GCB Bank has been appointed to the National Planning Committee and several technical sub-committees overseeing Ghana's participation in the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2026. The appointments, made by the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, relate to Ghana's preparations for the international trade and investment exhibition. The committees are expected to coordinate Ghana's participation in the exhibitions, which are aimed at promoting trade, investment and international business partnerships. Commenting on the appointments, Ms Ofori Odame said they reflected the Bank's commitment to supporting Ghana's international trade objectives. Through our specialised Afro-Asia Banking Department, we have consistently worked to connect businesses with strategic markets, particularly in Asia, and we look forward to contributing to Ghana's participation in these global platforms," she said.
