The board of directors of Tyson Foods Inc. declared a quarterly dividend payment of 51 cents per share for Class A shareholders. Tyson’s annual dividend rate of 2.04 cents per share has an annualized yield of 3.42%. Tyson Foods has a dual-class structure that also includes restricted Class B shares held entirely for the Tyson Family. The Class B shares also have a 10-to-1 voting ratio relative to Class A shares, allowing the Tyson Family to control the voting outcome. Shares of Tyson Foods (NYSE: TSN) closed Thursday, Aug. 6, at $58.54, up 35 cents on the day.
