VIJAYAWADA: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has discovered and documented an 11th-century Telugu inscription near Satakodu village in Yerragondapalem mandal of Prakasam district. The inscription records the donation of eight putlu and two mattars of wetland located behind the tank at Muttumalapadu by Muthu-Malaredi Nayaka for conducting worship at the temple of Spakotidevara on the occasion of Uttarayana Sankranti. It also records the donation of three khadukas of land to the same deity by Praralaya-Peggada.
