Bhopal: Colourful and vibrant performances by the artists from six countries marked the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) cultural festival here in the breezy evening of Thursday. As part of India’s BRICS presidency 2026, the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized the BRICS cultural festival 2026 at the famous Ravindra Bhavan here on Thursday evening. The cultural event was held on the sidelines of the three-day meeting of the BRICS Working Group on Culture, commenced on August five. The festival featured colourful performances by artists from BRICS member and participating countries, showcasing their rich cultural heritage while strengthening the spirit of cultural exchange and mutual cooperation. The event was aligned with the theme of India’s BRICS Presidency 2026- ‘Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Continuity’ and served as an important platform for promoting cultural exchange and strengthening people-to-people ties among participating nations.
