Officials in Stoughton, Massachusetts, issued a warning to residents on Friday after a dog died following a swim in a local pond. The Stoughton Board of Health said in a press release issued Friday that they were saddened to hear the news about the death of a dog who swam at Ames Pond this week. They said the Board of Health and environmental health agents are looking into the matter. Coli. Other symptoms can include excess drooling, diarrhea, jaundice, blood in urine, dark urine, malaise, lethargy, stumbling, loss of appetite, abdominal tenderness and liver injury.
