Written by Ferrell, “Trying to Love You” has already popped up in the musician’s recent sets on her current Heavy Petal Tour. Later today, the Charleston, WV-bred Ferrell will play her inaugural set at San Francisco’s Outside Lands. Looking slightly ahead, she also has a big return appearance at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre slated for August 12.
