Richardson faces five charges in total - causing criminal damage, threatening a person with a bladed article in a private place, threatening a person with a knife in public, using threatening behaviour and possessing a knife in public. A man has been charged with threatening a woman with a knife in Stroud. He is also accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence towards the woman. These offences are said to have taken place on the same day. Richardson, of Coppice Gate, Cheltenham is further charged with possession of a knife in a public place without good reason or lawful authority.
