While the Spanish royal family typically keeps a lower profile while on vacation in Mallorca, yesterday, Queen Letizia and her daughters Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía made a quiet visit to Casa Esment in the island’s capital city.
Esment, a nonprofit in Palma de Mallorca, has been providing support to people with disabilities since 1962.
Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofía “showed great interest in learning about the history of Esment and the people who make up the foundation,” the organization posted on Facebook (translated from Spanish).
They added, “Many thanks to [the Royal Family] for highlighting the individuals, their capabilities, and the work we do at Esment Fundació.”
Earlier this week, the entire Spanish royal family hosted their annual summer reception at Marivent Palace.
