The week of Aug. 17, the summer quiet at Colorado State University will be replaced with the sound of vehicles unloading and the chatter of excited students. Colorado State University plans to welcome more than 6,000 students to CSU’s residence halls over the next week for the start of the fall semester. “Almost 90% of residence hall students have reserved their spot for Move In,” said John Malsam, associate director of Occupancy and Operations for Housing & Dining Services. Knowing this hall would continue to be offline in 2026-2027, several new beds have been added to the open residence halls since 2022. Move In Week dining hours are available online.
