The two leading U.S. betting markets show the Democrat U.S. Senate candidate in Maine shellacking the veteran Republican incumbent. Polymarket is giving Democrat Troy Jackson 69-33 odds over Susan Collins, while Kalshi has it at 64-36. Effectively, bettors are predicting roughly a 2:1 chance of a Jackson victory. Jackson became the default candidate after the Maine Democrat Party caucus selected the former state senate president to compete against the five-term Collins. Hart Research’s recent poll done for Senate Majority PAC gave Jackson a far-more conservative 4-point victory over Collins, as reported Thursday by The Maine Wire.
