Fear No Lit Presents Inaugural “Beach Read” in Hamlin

Features a Cookout, Author Readings, and Sunset ViewsA new literary event is bringing nationally recognized writers to the lakeshore this summer.
Fear No Lit, a Hamlin-based literary organization, will launch its inaugural “Beach Read” series on Friday, August 21, at Hamlin Beach State Park, featuring fiction, nonfiction, and poetry readings from acclaimed authors T Kira Madden, Danny Caine, and local writer Angelique Stevens.
Representing the local literary community is Kendall resident Angelique Stevens, whose writing has appeared in Best American Essays in both 2022 and 2023.
Lift Bridge Book Shop will host an on-site book sale, giving attendees an opportunity to purchase works by featured authors.
Admission is free, and there is no vehicle-use fee for visitors entering Hamlin Beach State Park after 5 p.m.For more information, visit www.fearnolit.com.
