OpenAI has announced a major update for ChatGPT users on its Free and Go plans. The company is removing limits on text conversations, allowing users to chat without being forced to switch to a lower-powered AI model. At the same time, it is bringing a newer AI model and a new Think feature to more users. The company also says the new GPT-5.6 Sol makes fewer factual mistakes. OpenAI also confirmed that GPT-5.6 Sol used in ChatGPT Work and Codex will not change with this update.
