MCR Pathways, an award-winning mentoring charity, is delivering the programme in partnership with the Scottish Borders Council, Developing the Young Workforce Borders, and Skills Development Scotland.
"I look forward to seeing this programme launch and develop across all our schools in the Borders."
Through relationship-based mentoring, the programme aims to help individuals build confidence, resilience, and pathways into education, training, or employment.
To support the rollout, MCR Pathways will begin staff training in September, with the official launch set for January 2027.
MCR Pathways is currently recruiting additional staff to support the programme in the Borders and is calling on adults in the community to volunteer as mentors.
