Get out, find the organisations across the constituency that are making a difference, and support them. My first stop was the Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre in Galashiels, the only specialist sexual violence service in the Borders. They are an inspiring organisation, and they will have my full support in the important and sadly necessary work they do. Next was Cornerstone's hub on Melrose Road, which supports adults with learning disabilities and complex care needs, at the hub itself and in homes across the Borders. A weekend like that takes a huge amount of work, and the club's organisers and volunteers deserve real credit.
