IT WAS another great evening in Innerleithen when I attended the Cleikum Ceremonies, one of the highlights of St Ronan's Border Games Week. They, along with everyone else who took part in the ceremonies, represented the very best of community spirit and demonstrated why these long-established traditions continue to thrive. Events such as the St Ronan's Border Games are about much more than preserving history. They are a source of immense local pride, and it is always a privilege to attend and support them. I would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's St Ronan's Border Games Week another memorable and thoroughly enjoyable occasion.
