Earlier this summer, Brymbo Community Council agreed to purchase Brymbo Pool from Brymbo Developments Ltd. The pool and surrounding area is well used by Brymbo Angling Club and local residents. Brymbo Community Council donated £15,000, Brymbo Angling Club gave £1,800 and £3,500 was raised by the community through the crowfunder. "As councillor for Brymbo I would like to thank the Community Council, Brymbo Angling Club and everyone who kindly supported us," Cllr Rogers said. "I am pleased Brymbo Community Council is protecting the heritage of our village.
