Nationwide search underway for next Office of Hawaiian Affairs chief executive officer

06/25/26 OHA Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting – screen grab / OHA YouTubeOffice of Hawaiian Affairs trustees officially launched a nationwide search for the agency’s next administrator/chief executive officer, inviting accomplished leaders with a commitment to public service, stewardship and Native Hawaiian advancement to apply for one of Hawaiʻi’s most significant executive leadership positions.
The position reports directly to Office of Hawaiian Affairs Board of Trustees and provides strategic, operational and organizational leadership.

A successful applicant will guide the implementation of Office of Hawaiian Affairs long-range strategic plan “Mana i Mauli Ola” and help advance priorities in education, housing, health, economic stability and cultural stewardship.
