Other changes have and will continue to come on the edges of Cleveland’s training camp roster, especially given the team’s current rash of injuries along the offensive and defensive lines.
The Browns announced Friday that they have waived 2024 fifth-round draft pick Jamari Thrash, who was competing for a depth wide receiver role in training camp, along with linebacker Reid Carrico.
Plenty of Browns fans have been intrigued by Thrash, whose two-year stint with the Browns has been marred by inconsistent quarterback play.
Thrash picked up a knee injury during the first week of training camp and was last seen catching passes from a JUGGs machine while sporting a brace.
Conley was waived by the Browns earlier this week as the team scrambled to add bodies along the defensive line.
