The Sonoma County Fair kicks off its 10-day run in Santa Rosa today with a nostalgic favorite: free daily Clover Sonoma ice cream. According to the Press Democrat, after a multi-year hiatus, the beloved local giveaway returns alongside classic traditions like the Hall of Flowers, livestock shows, and rodeo action. This year’s theme, “Festivals, Fiestas and Fun,” brings international flair to the fairgrounds with global garden displays and the new Cirque Ma’Ceo acrobatic equestrian show. Fairgoers can also catch the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest during the festivities, which run through August 16th.
