Sony’s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” film has continued to smash box-office records across its first week.
The title launched last Friday to a $360.1 million haul, beating “Avengers: Endgame” to score the highest domestic opening weekend box-office take of all time.
It then continued to smash further records as it went on, taking $47 million on Monday, $42 million on Tuesday, and $32.7 million on Wednesday.
Worldwide, the film reached the billion-dollar mark in six days, second place to “Avengers: Endgame,” which made $1.2 billion in its first three days globally.
The film, which is now in cinemas, carries a $225 million production budget.
