Shaibu gave the charge to the graduating soldiers from Exercise RESTORE HOPE X in Kachia, Kaduna State, on Friday. According to him, the graduation comes at a defining period in the ongoing transformation and expansion of the Nigerian Army. Shaibu expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for supporting the Army’s operational, training and administrative requirements. Earlier, the Chief of Training (Army), Maj.-Gen. Valentine Okoro, described Exercise RESTORE HOPE X as a critical pillar of the Nigerian Army’s training architecture. Okoro added that the programme had strengthened institutional capacity by standardising post-basic infantry training and refining instructional methodologies across Army training establishments.
