News Investigators/ The Federal Government of Nigeria and the Government of Mali have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest. According to the statement, the pledge was made following the presentation of the Letters of Credence by Nigeria’s Ambassador-Designate to Mali, Amb. Geoffrey Chima, to Mali’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdoulaye Diop, in Bamako. It stated that the presentation was followed by bilateral discussions centered on deepening cooperation between the two countries. The statement said both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic consultation mechanisms to foster a more productive and mutually beneficial South-South partnership.
